DATA UPDATED

• 2019 & 2020 nonprofit data updated. Previous versions of nonprofit data didn’t include ZIP Codes and were not imported. This has been fixed and the 2019 and 2020 data will now reflect all data. This only affected ZIP Code regions.

CVSuite Tool Changes

CODE GROUPINGS ENHANCEMENT- 02/24/21

The Data Settings section of the tool has been redesigned to allow users to save and toggle between code groupings. You will no longer have to manually change your codes—simply choose from your saved code groupings and run analysis.

• When viewing data from past years (ie Total Industry Sales) 2011-2013, double check that all the codes are included in that value. Some recently added NAICS codes denoted with an asterisk are not available in past years. You can avoid this issue by using the most recent three years (2014 to 2016).

• New NAICS and SOC codes are not retroactively added to past years. When pulling aggregate values (ie Total Industry Sales) from the system in years 2011-2013, double check that all the codes are included in that value. You can avoid this issue by using the most recent two years (2015 and 2014).

Additional Notes:

• N/A Industry Jobs – In 2012, the United States Census Bureau updated the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS). In the new definitions some industries were combined into new industries which means they will be obsolete when we make the transition to the 2014.4 release. We are unable to report the jobs related to those industries during this transition to the new NAICS definitions.
